We are NOT just putting a shiny wrapper around a regular Large Language Model (LLM), we have used our real-world skills and proven e-Commerce experience to enhance an already successful model with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG - see below) - meaning our platform is 'caged' to interpret, understand and respond only to the knowledge we have given it.

The whole idea for Chuffed! stems from the countless people who have asked us for individual help with the specific e-commerce processes and techniques we use within our own online business Barbless Flies every day — help we simply couldn't provide on a one-to-one basis. So, we built a platform to share our knowledge and experience in a way that benefits as many people as possible.
Our mission is simple: to empower entrepreneurs with real-world, practical guidance that actually works.
Through our experience of building a number of niche online businesses, we have brought together all of our considerable knowledge and experience, to develop a real-world intelligent platform — which we've called The EDGE.

The father & son team behind Chuffed! are:
Richard Fieldhouse – Having sold his IT consultancy business, Richard decided to follow his passion for fly fishing by applying his deep skills in IT, e-Commerce, analytics and behavioural economics to the sale of fishing flies online, direct to consumers. With great success - building the company (Barbless Flies) into the largest B2C supplier of fishing flies in the UK (I'm the young looking one on the right 😀).
Jack Fieldhouse – Jack joined Barbless Flies full time in 2020 after completing a Master’s Degree in Sports Marketing, using the skills he gained to spearhead both the marketing and logistics side of the business (whilst continuing to study for a PhD in Sport and Health Sciences) - the real brains of the business 😀.
It is from both Richard & Jack's experience that Chuffed's first product was born - The e-Commerce EDGE.
